Ulster GAA Club and Volunteer Conference Musco Lighting representatives Chris Limpach and Colin Brown at Ulster GAA Club and Volunteer Conference The Irish News Ulster GAA Club and Volunteer Conference was held on Saturday 14 November 2009. Musco was pleased to have representatives Colin Brown, Chris Limpach, and Tom McCabe attend the day event at the Armagh City Hotel in Northern Ireland. The theme of the conference was "Stronger Clubs, Better Communities; the legacy of the GAA's 125th Anniversary Year". This was the third annual conference, which included workshops, keynotes, and discussion forums. The 2009 master of ceremonies was BBC Championship Presenter Austin O'Callaghan with keynote speakers GAA President Christy Cooney, Ulster GAA President Tom Daly, former GAA President and Community Leader Peter Quinn, The Irish News Editor Noel Doran, Ulster GAA Volunteer Development & Research Officer Sharon Haughey, Ulster GAA Community Development Officer Maura Kelly, and Church of Ireland Reverend Earl Storey. The Ulster GAA Club and Volunteer Conference is focused at supporting club, volunteer, and community development across Ulster's nine Counties. The Ulster Council supports over 250,000 volunteers working in 580 constituent GAA clubs and approximately 600 constituent educational units across the Province.
