Musco Light Largest Project in Poland to Date
|
Musco have just sold one of their most prominent projects in Poland, since the opening of their offices
in Warsaw earlier this year. Jagiellonia Bialystok Football Club in Podlasie, which is famously held
35,000 spectators for the Polish Premier League derby against Widzew Lodz in 1987, will install lighting
to both its main stadium and outdoor youth training pitch. This installation will be carried out by one
of Poland's leading Sports Contractors whom Musco have worked with on similar projects; including
Gornik Leczna Football Club, Leczna, and Groclin Grodzisk, Grodzisk Wielkopolski both of which play
within the Polish Premier League. The energy saving and warranty values offered by Musco were the deciding
factor when comparing the project tenders.
2005 Polish Cup Winners Groclin Grodzisk, purchased Light-Structure Green (LSG)
following the required upgrade of their existing lighting system to accommodate televised, international
fixtures at the ground.
However it is not only soccer clubs who benefit from Musco Lighting in Poland. Both Pro Masters Tennis Club,
Szczecin and Warszawianka Tennis Centre, Warsaw installed LSG lighting to their existing facilities. Indeed
Warszawianka now seen as the highest profile tennis center in Poland, will host the International WTA Woman's
series tournament in May 2007.
Musco continue to enjoy the rapid development within the Polish market, the true simplicity and versatility of
their lighting system is second to none.
