Musco Lighting Ireland Boost Facilities at Limerick Lawn Tennis Club Musco Lighting Ireland Limited were honoured to sponsor the recent International Futures and 129th South of Ireland Tennis Championships held in Limerick. The tournament was hosted by Limerick Lawn Tennis Club and was played under Musco Lights. Limerick Lawn Tennis Club is the one of the oldest established clubs in Ireland, having officially reopened their new premises in May, it is now one of the top sporting amenities in the country boasting twelve floodlit courts. Musco Lighting Ireland Ltd installed the impressive floodlighting system to bring the club into the 21st century and allowing the opportunity to host a world class competition. Some of the world's top players attended the competition which was held from the 17th-24th June. The competition Director was delighted that Limerick was chosen to host the event in Ireland and commented on the success of Limerick receiving the tournament. ‘When we got the decision makers from Tennis Ireland to see the facilities that the club now boasts having completed our development, it was in the bag. Thanks to the facilities at the club and the sponsorship we have received, the futures tournament will definitely be coming back to Limerick in the years ahead.’ Matches were held during the weekday evenings and included Men's and Women's singles, doubles and mixed finals.
