First Competitive Hurling Match Under Floodlights at Galway Musco Lighting Ireland Limited are providing the floodlighting for the Ireland V Australia International Rules test being held at Pearse Stadium, Galway on the 28th October. The Railway Cup Hurling Final will take place before the International test and this will be the first time competitive hurling has been played under floodlights. Musco have great pleasure in working with the GAA for these series of matches against Australia, and indeed bringing the first competitive floodlit hurling game to Ireland. Musco's four Mobile floodlighting rigs will produce 800 lux to prove that hurling can be played under lights.
