Musco Boost Light Levels for the 2007 EuroHockey Championships 2007 European Hockey Nations Champions will be determined, 18-26 August 2007 Musco Lighting Europe, approved lighting suppliers of the European Hockey Federation, are proud to be involved with the lighting preparations for the 2007 EuroHockey Nations Championships. This prestigious biennial tournament will be held at Belle Vue Manchester, formally a commonwealth facility, on the 18 to 26 August 2007. Such is the importance of the event, not only will the European Champions be determined, but the top three men's and women's teams will qualify directly for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. England Hockey who are hosting the event chose Musco due to their previous experience lighting hockey facilities throughout Europe. Musco will provide their unique temporary lighting rigs to ensure appropriate light levels are reached for the required television standards. This is the second time that Musco have been chosen to provide lighting for this event, having previously installed the lighting systems for The Pau Negre Stadium and Parc del Migdia Stadium for the 2003 Championships in Barcelona. Musco have since installed lighting systems to a number of hockey fields throughout the UK and Europe, including King Edward VII Community Sports Centre, Swansea and Hamstead Hall School, Birmingham. In Europe, one of Belgium's premier hockey clubs Royal Beerschot, chose Musco earlier this year to light their hockey facility.
